Mode of Action
Katyayani K-MITE (Hexythiazox 5.45% EC) acts as a contact acaricide with translaminar activity. It targets mites directly when they come into contact with the treated surface. While not systemic, it can spread slightly within the plant tissue, offering enhanced protection, especially on the undersides of leaves where mites typically thrive.
Dosage and Application
For Tea, use 125–200 ml/acre for control of Scarlet mite and Red spider mite. For Chilli, use 125–200 ml/acre for Yellow mites. Apply 200 ml/acre for Red spider mite on Grapes, Brinjal, and Okra. Rose crops require 166–200 ml/acre for Red spider mite control.
